Additions & Basements

Why move out when you can add on or use the additional space you already have? Currently, more people are staying in their homes instead of selling them and are building additions, finishing basements, or converting garages into living space.

We finish basements in many ways but most importantly working to keep the moisture out, this is done in many ways first we clear out and clean the basement then we water seal using dry lock products then framing (pressure treated wood on floors with a sill sealer first) then a vapor barrier (6 mill plastic) we recommend spray foam insulation but can be done in fiberglass) regardless of any finished basement space a dehumidifier is always recommended. We also install bathrooms and wash rooms in basements.

Additions are very similar only adding on site work (excavation & mason). We will assist in design and give you many material and color options to choose from. We also have architects and engineers that work very closely with us to ensure a faster and smoother process.

Some popular rooms in a basement or an addition are:

  • Additional bedroom
  • Second living room
  • Game room
  • Play room
  • Media room
  • Home theater
  • Office
  • Gym
  • Library
  • Meditation room
  • Work shop
  • Storage
  • Bathroom
  • Washer and dryer

Our Customers Say:

Hey, my name is Mark Guzewski... and let me tell you Joseph Russek from 3rd Generation Homes is a genius when it comes to concrete countertops. It is truly remarkable what he was able to do for my counters. It looks as if he took the rock from Mars and cut it to make a countertop for me. Best of all the crystal clear super hard epoxy he put on top makes it look deep and brings out the colors even more. It matches my cabinets perfectly. I would recommend his services if you are thinking of remodeling your kitchen. I saved the best part for last... it cost HALF as much as granite or marble and in my opinion it looks better!
